THE PROBLEM
Alastair from Toi-Ohomai Institute came to us with the problem of Wooden Decking around the Institute icing over in Frosty Conditions. This had caused a number of slips and spills and was a major Health and Safety issue. Outdoor Carpet had been trialed but water froze in the ribs and the surface was still slippery.
THE SOLUTION
FOUR-IN-ONE MATTING: Screwed down exactly where it was needed – no wastage and easy to install.
THE OUTCOME
No more accidents have occurred – a non-slip surface was obtained. On icy days the ice breaks when someone steps on it due to the foam underlay of the Four in One matting.
