A Hamilton school successfully used Slim Rib Outdoor Carpet glued onto the concrete to prevent students from slipping on the walkways.
Slippery Concrete Solved at Southwell School
THE PROBLEM
Southwell School in Hamilton had some students slipping over on the concrete walkways around the school on rainy and foggy days and needed to find a solution.
THE SOLUTION
Our installer glued 450m2 of Slim Rib Outdoor Carpet: (Colour Light Grey) onto the concrete to create a nonslip seamless surface outside of school hours.
DT028 Transition bars were used to create a non-trip edge where the carpet meets the floor and there is a height difference. Slimrib outdoor carpet is designed to last under NZ conditions and is designed to dry quickly.

This Hamilton school now has safe and smart looking walkways
