Find out here how to care for your new Washable mat
Daily vacuuming will remove most of the obvious dirt and debris from your mat
Spot clean with a wet cloth if small areas get soiled
When you need a thorough clean you can get your mats laundered by a laundromat or clean them yourself. Use a a bucket of warm soapy water (dishwashing liquid is fine) and a soft brush. Hose excess soap off
Dry mats by lying as flat as possible – avoid hanging (especially over a saggy line) as this can stretch the mat in the middle and create waves in the rubber. Lying flat is ideal.
Ensure that both sides of the mat are dry before putting on the floor. If the backing is still wet it can cause damage to your floor.
The less often you wash your mat the longer it will stay looking new. It is also more environmentally friendly to only wash your mats as needed (compared to renting mats that get washed every week even when they do not need washing.)

Break 5-10 minutes, high water level, cold to 49ºC
Rinse 2 minutes, high water level, cold

Do not over-dry mats in dryer
Basket temperature of dryer should not exceed 82 ºC
If mats are not dried, final rinse can be increased to 60 ºC. This will reduce moisture retention following extraction
Vacuum & spot clean
Daily vacuuming and quick cleaning of the occasional stains will keep the mat in good condition
Wash with soap
Whenever needed, thoroughly clean the mat with a bucket of warm soapy water and a soft brush
Dry by lying flat
Carefully dry the washed mat by lying it as flat as possible - if you are hanging it ensure the line does not sag - eg: a pole or fence is better than a line to prevent the mat stretching. Do not put mats back in place until they are completely dry.
