As parents ourselves, we understand and appreciate the important work that Ronald McDonald house do in New Zealand and abroad. The House provides a home-away-from-home for families to stay while their little ones are in hospital. They have houses in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.
The House has everything a family needs including an onsite library and a school for children in years 1 – 8. Some families are there for extended periods of time and often with other children not receiving treatment.
As a wee thank you for their work and to brighten up the on-site school even more, The Wholesale Matting Company recently donated one of our Map of New Zealand Mats to Ronald McDonald House in Auckland. We think it looks great!
